Exhibit Purpose: The purpose of this exhibit is to visually illustrate where you find your refuge. Where do you “go” when the waves of life are crushing down around you.
What an honor to be apart of such a talented and creative group of artists at HCBCL!
This is my watercolor painting I entered into this exhibit.
“Peaceful Pagosa Valley”
by Michelle C. East
Medium: Watercolor
Artist Interpretation: Pagosa Springs, Colorado is one of our favorite places to vacation as a family. There is something about the calm crisp mountain air that puts my heart at rest. I feel peaceful when I am there. This valley is visible just as you start to go up the windy and steep mountainous path over the continental divide. So this is true with life, our path is often windy and feels treacherous, but if we keep our eyes on the Lord and dwell in His valley, our hearts will be at peace.
Psalm 91:1 “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
Size: 11×14
(Paper Mounted on Panel Board-Gallery Frame Edge)
