Artist Interpretation: Double play is usually a baseball term, but it applies to this painting in the sense that there are two games represented and are being reflected in the mirror they were sitting on. All these objects in this painting are things from my “childhood” memories-blocks, jacks & marbles. It brings a lot of joy to look back and remember how I used to play with each of these.
