Description: Single red amaryllis flower with shadows of the stamen on the petals. Petals glow with red-orange and yellow-orange hues. A dark green and black background adds strong contrast to the bright flower in front. This painting was originally painted in 2013 by Michelle C. East.
Artist Interpretation: Where the light touches the darkness-this is where healing begins. Light reveals hope, truth & possibility. It brings clarity to a cloudy or unclear situation. As Believers, we know our source of light & truth comes from God. We must ask Him to shine His light into our lives. John 9:5 Jesus said, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” He came to this world to rid away the darkness.
