“Pink and White Orchids #1”

This painting was one of the four options in the series YOU Choose my NEXT Painting! It had the second highest number of votes making it my next image to create from. 
My family gave me this pink and white orchid plant for my birthday and therefore it has special meaning to me! They know how much I love potted plants and flowers and often turn them into the subject matter of my artwork!
The original painting is for sale SHOP HERE. It is framed and matted (picture will be posted soon). The pre-framed size is 11×14″ and the size with frame is 16×20″.
Note cards are available in my SHOP. The set includes four blank 3.5×5″ cards with envelopes for only $8.50.
This painting was on display at HCBC Lake Line Campus from January-March 2018 and will be available after that exhibit.

The second painting in the series, “Pink and White Orchids #2”, is now complete. Below are a couple images of the painting in progress showing the beginning layers of shadows and starting to add the pinks on the orchids. This painting is a square 14×14″ and is framed and matted.
